    A Rose starts to bloom
    Gaze at its beauty!
But it is at its doom
    It is stepped on!
Has it time to shine ended so soon?
Continuing to grow on the lawn,
    Stalwartly it blooms!
    Although disfigured,
    un-noticed by all,
It is denied its moment to shine.
And it goes down with a fall

    Over in another lawn,
    In another time
    A rose is stepped on
    Crumpled and crushed crooked,
    Still yet, it blooms!
    Although living a half life
    Being un-noticed by all
    It stalwartly stands tall!
    Despite disfigurement,
It has its moment to shine!
I thought I ought to write a poem instead of posting lyrics to songs I like. Its my first poem. Comments are welcome.

writing poetry is a great way to express your innermost feelings and share them with others who may be feeling the same way. Keep writing!
