    Hey all

I had an idea that for those of us here who have little or zero structure in their life and want to begin adding healthy habits, it might feel a bit more motivating to have a little group with others in the very same boat, and togheter give support and motivation to slowly create some kind of daily structure, or just add in a healthy habit you think will do you good.

Being able to get opinions from others on your goals might also make you avoid taking water way over your head, becouse if you're like me, it might be hard to resist making a long to-do list as soon as you feel some energy, which for me always fails.

We can share this thread, write down our problems and current state, and the wed like to achieve, and togheter come up with ways to slowly work towards making real lasting changes.

I hope this can add anything for someone.

    Hello beatdown,

I have not spoken to you before but I came across your post and would like to contribute. I am not around here very much but I usually pop in once every week or couple of weeks. I would like to begin but I am not sure if what follows is what you have asked. If I have made a mistake please let me know so I can correct it.

    Problems and current state:
Currently in search for a job.
Occasional depressive thoughts and suicide thoughts are more rare.
    Anxiety and socialising.

    Good things:
I have begun exercising at home.
    I have lost weight.
    I have finished university.

Healthy habits I need to incorporate:
I wish to join a gym.
I must visit a doctor regarding physical issues with my legs and shoulder.
    I must quit smoking.
I need to go out more and socialise, facing my anxiety.
I want to do at least one activity a week I enjoy (snooker, golf, football, whatever).

If you can help me on the above I would appreciate that. Any advice would be great. Help me work towards making real lasting change. Thanks.

I would suggest that you join a sports team or club or gym. That way you will be active and you can socialize through there.

    Good luck with your jobsearch.

Ok so these are my current issues:

    Need a job
Need to get out and talk to people more
To stop dwelling on negative feelings

The good things are that I have been looking for a job and having a more positive mindset. I need to work on my health, eat better, exercise more, get on a good sleep schedule, and worry less.
