The legal age in the Uk to move out is 16.
    I'm 17, 18 this year.
How do I get my mum to believe I'm old enough to move out?
She keeps saying it's 18, even when I am 18, she wont let me go:mad:

Well if you're really moving out... why do you need her to believe?

Good luck with it all

If you're old enough then you are old enough. She can't debate that. But - I don't want to sound pessimistic - living in your own place is expensive. Do you know how you will fund that? And your food and everyday items and bills etc? Also, it can be quite a jolt to move away from home, it's surprising how lonely it can be unless planned properly.

    Hope you're ok

I mean I want to move out, but she wont let me, as she thinks I'm too young

well there is a difference between leting u and stopping you. You see no matter what she let u do, if you have the legal age to do it, u can.
Most mothers will try their best to keep their kids with them, because even if having the propper age, im sure u dont have a job or a place to live. then she just worries about you because shes your mother and she loves u.

if you truely want to go, she cant stop you?
you are old enough to do so, so she hasnt a leg to stand on so i dont see the problem tbh
