I don't know if this has been done before but here goes anyway. Everyone has a different musical taste. So what I would like to know is what Band, Song, do you put on to cheer your self up or just makes you feel better.
I have a few to get you started.

Well lets see I can keep this short.

George Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Nirvana - Lithium
Rise Against - Prayer of a Refugee
House of Pain - Jump Around
Cake - Short Skirt, Long Jacket
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes - Favorite Things

Also anything with some wickedly-awesome organ playing.
Such as:

The Black Mages - Dancing Mad
The main theme from Phantom of the Opera

Bloody hell Daripa swop a couple of yours with the
1812 overture and Ravels Bolero and we are playing the same things

Phantom of the opera really loud will block out most anything and it has the added bonus of driving the neighbours apeshit

There's just something about good organ and classical music that gets me going. Plus the fact that I use to play the timpani in the school band. Those were some great memories.

One song which made me fall in love with Feeder, I actually cried when I first heard it, "Feeling A Moment" by Feeder.

Feeling the moment slip away
Losing direction, you're losing faith
You're wishing for someone
Feeling it all begin to slide
Am I just like you?
All the things you do... can't help myself.

How do you feel when there's no sun?
And how will you be when rain clouds come?
And pull you down again
How will you feel when there's no one?
Am I just like you?

Turning to face what you've become
Buried the ashes of someone
Broken by the Strain
Trying to fill that space inside
Am I just like you?
All the things you do... can't help myself

How do you feel when there's no sun?
And how will you be when rain clouds come?
And pull you down again
How will you feel when there's no one?
Am I just like you?
All the things you do...

Don't ever feel that you're alone
I'd never let you down
I'd never leave you dry
Don't fall apart
Don't let it go
Carry the notion
Carry the notion back to me, to me....
Feeling the moment slip away
Feeling the moment slip away...

Cause I'm just like you
How do you feel when there's no sun?
And how will you be when rain clouds come?
And pull you down again
How will you feel when there's no one?
Am I just like you?

Feels like they're talking to me, reminds me I'm not alone with my feelings.
