    My black rose moon*

    Forsaken and forgotten, Rose,
Thou hadst withered on thy stem,*
Shedding petals like tears, so dark,*
    Crushed, crumpled, and fragrant yet.

The glory lost, the once proud bloom bowed,
No more shall the blossom flare,
No more the dewdrops touch thy lips,
No more shall the admirers care,

No more will thy soft folds blush,
    Never again, the beauty unfold,
Never the sweet furled edges smile,
Never like in the days of old..

For all the pride, the scent thrown wide,
Never a pitied gaze you'll lack,
The shrivelled stalk is all remained,
with thy thorns, thy core curled black.*

Desolate and despaired is my rose,
Joined is she in me, too late, too soon..
Haunting my world with her touch..
My black night sky, my black rose moon..

Not a professional poet, tho I would love to be published.. Maybe some day I'll have a book out, I have enough for two by now lol.
Glad you liked it, thanks.
