I'm just going to put all of my poetry in one thread, I guess. Feedback would be nice I guess, but just reading for the heck of it is fine too.

So I wrote this when I was feeling really down...

    I suffer alone
So they don't see my tears
    They don't need to know
    The war inside me
    They don't need to see
    My broken soul
    They don't need to see
    Beyond the cheerful mask
    That hides the pain
    They can keep their joy
    They can keep their concern
They can keep their blissful innocence
    They can stay whole
While on the inside I cry
While on the inside I lay broken
While on the inside I am destroying myself
While on the inside I am dying

    Oh...thanks :)

I wrote this one after someone made a passing comment...he doesn't know about my depression and suicidal thoughts, but...yeah. this one may be triggering.

When you propose to jump off the balcony,
I know you dont really want to die.
I know that I want to so badly,
    I readily agree
And wave it off with a big grin,
    But inside I've jumped and
I lay in a pool of my own beautifully red blood

Wrote this upon getting sent home from camp because I was having suicidal thoughts. Makes some references to songs that are associated with camp

You sent me away from the place
    The one place
    That saves me
    You sent me to hell
It's the end of my world
    The end of the tour
And I may never come back to heaven
    Once again

Watch me curl up and cry
In the place I call hell
Because home is where my heart is
And my heart has been left behind
