The song I play is dreaded by many
    And yet, so Undeniably Peaceful

Swaying my voice as I sing of sorrow
Knowing that there is no tomorrow
Buried in the depths of sin
    Playing my Crimson Violin

This song seems only to move me
    And yet, so Condemning

Why keep going with this broken heart
When there is no other place to start
No finish line to make me win
    Playing my Crimson Violin

This song I play kills me deeply
    Because I'm Hurting

The blood flows like a river
From my arms, my body shivers
This knife is better than any pen
    To play this Crimson Violin

we've all got violins playing our own songs
you're just in the middle of the performance
you've got some sad songs but don't you remember that the ending is happy?
