Today is my dad's birthday. It's the first one since he died. And thanks to the meds I'm on, I feel nothing. I should be sad, or nostalgic or something, but I'm not. I feel like a terrible daughter. But I don't know how to fix it.

Your dad would not want you to feel saddness hun You know he would want you to celebrate your life hun Try to commemorate you dad by doing that by remembering the happier times okay I am glad you have medication to keep you out of t he darkness hun h ugs

You aren't a terrible daughter. Sometimes a loss can be overwhelming and we just might not be able to feel anything. Just try to remember the good times you had with him and that should put a smile on your face.
