You know more and more I look forward to doing Double Unders at the crossfit gym, because I get to use those wonderful steel speed ropes. To do a double under you have to move the rope fast. However, often times you screw up and get a nice smack on the arm and/or leg. When I look at the bruises after class I feel a sense of happiness. I can do this because it can be called fitness. No hiding.. no telling others lies. The bruises are from a speed rope and they feel wonderful. Because I am trash and I need to be punished for my continued existence. The bruises fade after a day or two and i can start all over again. I just wish I had enough space to practice doubleunders at home. That way I could really bruise up.
