I have 8 dogs, Homer is a collie/labrador cross, Pippa is a Kerry Blue and Tiger, Tina, Lizzie, Beppe, Molly and Patty are Yorkshire Terriers, I also have 4 of Patty's 2 week old pups to look after too.
One of the reasons I prefer living in the countryside is I can have loads of pets!

My dog always makes me smile. We play these games and he is quite a weird character. Sometimes I'd chase him around the house and then I'd stop, turn and run the other way and he'd chase me all around the house then I turn again sharply and he'd stop and stare me in the face. Oh, that's another - staring competitions. :) I can be sitting minding my own business and he'd be sitting on his bed or lying down staring at me so I stare at him back.. I normally win this though because my dad only has to open a sweet bag and my dog looks at him. :) Then there's other times when he's laying down and I sit on him (not REALLY sit on him, just lean over him) and I tell him not to move. So then he tries to 'bite' (poor thing, couldn't bite if he tried, he's too sweet) me and kicks his legs in the air. Then there's other times when he's standing infront of me and I make these 'robotic' movements.. like moving my arm, then leg.. slowly.. and he'd move with me. So if I move my arm he moves his head, if I then move my leg he wags his tail, then stops and we both freeze. Then I'd run after him and he'd scoot it the other way. He's a lovely dog, very friendly, and when I'm feeling sad he is there only too willing to give a hug, or more, I hug him. :)

His name is Sammie, and I love him to bits.

Aw...I love dogs. I can't really afford to keep a pet right now...just the pet deposit at my apartment complex is $400.

So I volunteer at the Humane Society, walking the dogs, training them, and just playing with them. They're always happy to see you and it's rewarding because they always appreciate the attention. Definitely helps keep me sane.

    I have two dogs.
Tucker-a Siberian Husky/Australian shepherd...We named him after food. It turns out it was all too appropriate. He is just as crazy as I am.
Jake- a Border collie/Brittany Spaniel. He is the most gentle soul I have ever met.
I love them both soo much.

Also my brothers dog Dirk stays here a lot...We call him Dirk the Destroyer, for all to good a reason. He soo cute, or else he would have been killed with his many victims.

My sisters dog used to live with use as well...he tried to eat the new baby.
Rocky- a Rottweiler/lab. He is a good dog. He just thought the baby was a toy. No damage though. He lives with them now and protects the baby and puts up with the pinches and pulls.

All of them are from the SPCA.
