In the future I would really love to join the medical programs in the navy... but I'm starting to worry... I have alot of self mutilation scars all over my arms and legs and neck, I was wondering if they wouldn't let someone join who has a past record of suicidal thoughts and depression

would it matter? does anyone know? I really hope they don't reject me... i really wanna do this... I just wanna know if I'm going to get turned down before I get my hopes up to high..

I'm not positive, but I don't think they even allow people with illnesses such as that to join.

But then again I'm not in the navy. That's noble of you to be in the med team though.

I think that it is sorta hard as a cutter to get around getting any job with scars.

 damn. This is like the one thing that really ... I don't know... keeps me going. I was poking around the site and forums on the navy... it basically said to call a local recruiter.. I guess I'll try tomorrow

    thanks for the reply
