I spoke to my CPN over the phone today for a catch up. She's pleased with how everything is going but asked me about how I was getting on with my meds. I said that they work well but Olanzapine has made me gain 4 stone and she was very concerned about the weight gain and is consulting with the psychiatrist. She mentioned perhaps coming off antipsychotics which makes me nervous. I said I don't think now is the right time to be messing with my meds but she said see what the psychiatrist says.

I can understand your fears, just when you've got everything back together and worked so hard to get where you are, that now might not be the best time for med changes. I wish I had some advice but it seems to me that its something she feels strongly about talking it over with the psychiatrist, please do update us when you can.
