i was having a really bad day yesterday
and i ended up cutting soo badly :(
thing is.. i usually do more cuts when i'm in a worse mood
but this time it was only two, but they were really deep
i've never cut this deep before - mine are always shallow(ish)
and... well it eventually stopped bleeding and i sorted it out - but i could see like, some pale yellow stuff, at the bottom, like right inside...
i thought it was muscle to begin with but i don't really know

    sorry for posting - i'm just confused ... :(
    can anyone help?

You might want to get it checked out by a doctor. It could be infected.

Keep it clean and stay strong

    thanks guys
i don't think it's infected though - i took pretty good care of it
and the stuf was there already.. that's why i thought it was muscle ..
    i don't know

I think muscle is red. White is more likely to just be fat. I've cut before to the point where I could see white stuff and it freaked me out. As long as you keep it clean and (depending where it is) make sure you still have full range of motion (as it is possible but unlikely to hit a nerve or tendon) you should be fine.

If you get really worried, see a doctor. You don't have to tell them what happened if you don't want to. But you'll probably, in my non-expert opinion, be fine :)

The only thing on the inside of your body that is yellow that i know of is bone, puss and fat.... I really hope you are ok, i have open ears if you ever want to chat

    Hi Laura,

Do you have the cut properly bandaged? Make sure to clean it with salvon or any disinfectant. Hope you feel better soon sweetie

Always here if you need to talk

    Hi, deep cutter here.

the white/yellowish stuff it a thin membrane that separates the end of your skin (dermes sp?) and the beginning of your muscle tissue. With cuts like that it's important to keep it clean with water and soap as opposed to heavy irritants like alcohol and keep it bandaged for a day or two.

After a day or two the skin starts to build up again. It'll leave an ugly purplish hematoma scar if you do what I do and not go to a doctor for stitches.

What ever you do be sure to eat healthy--the deeper you cut the more likely you are to get it infected. Keep your imnmune system strong.

    Good luck.

thanks james... for that detailed answer
    i'll try my best
i'm worried about the scarring :( i don't usually scar at all, i mean, they go away relatively quickly compared to most people, but i don't know if this will... being so deep and all

stay safe too, as you said you do the same
