Have had social anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember, spent my school years mostly isolated, am very shy and quiet, low self esteem. Never really experienced what most teenagers do because of that, no parties, no dating, no girlfriends, the sad part is, I turn 21 in about five months... Lately due to the depression and the anxiety, I've been having more and more negative thoughts. Feeling alone is the strongest feeling, can't tell my family anything because they don't believe in the concept of depression or anxiety. Which is why I joined here, this seems like a really supportive community. Don't really have any friends to hang out with, my days just consist of going to work and coming home, which just leaves the negative thoughts. Can anyone relate?
