Hello everyone,
I am a new member and the first thing I want to let everyone know is that I want to help anyone in any way that I can......I am a very patient person who is not judgemental and I am a very good listener.

If you need someone to chat with or talk with over the telephone I am willing to give you my telephone number via a private message. Please try not to be too leery of me because of my openess to have you call me. I came to this site because I hear about a lot of people who want to end their life and I just want to help them see that although the world may look hopeless to them, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel...always a light!!! Please let me help you in the small way that I am offering by letting you chat and vent to me and if you feel comfortable, we can also talk on the telephone.

My name is Darlene but you can call me Dar for short and I live in the Pennsylvania area. It just pains me to read these postings especially the ones that state that the person will try to commit suicide....I want to help....please allow me to try and help you.

For your own safety it would be wise for you not to do so. Maybe after you have gotten to know the members you can selectivly share that information. As I said it is for the safety of all concerned. You can give a great deal of support through chat, the forum, an instant messenger, PMs etc. Know that we are hear to offer you support should you need it as well. I hope you like what you find here.
