This is a poem entitled Newton. It was written by my sister and I thought I'd post it to see what people thought. It's fairly long, so I'll be posting it in parts. This is part one, enjoy.

    It Starts
    It rains.
    I smile.
Rain from clouds of a brown iris slip down a rosy soft slope.
    I think
    And I feel it coming.
    The climax
    The suspense of the answer.
Judgment Day in the form of words and bodies and tears.
    Not souls
    But bodies
    And hearts.
    It builds up
Gaining momentum with every bit I hear.
    Those silly words
    Are meaningless.
They go through one ear and out the other.
    They mean nothing to me.
    But they do inflict
    Not just pain
    But emotion too.
    Like a mosaic.
    Pick and chose.
    Thrown all together.
    Pretty, right?
    I don't think so anyway.
I say it means nothing, but it kind of does.
