  1. No choice

    Tangled up in life,
    trapped in knots and chains
    of dread
    Already feeling dead
    like a fly
    in a spider’s web
    How cruel to just keep
    hanging on when
    nothing makes sense;
    Why we do and try so hard;
    When we’re moving
    against the flow
    of Time
    But they say it’s a sin
    to let go,
    to give in
    I’ve been to the edge of understanding
    and felt purpose all around
    But it disappeared slowly
    without a sound ~
    one by one
    every little thing, undone
    How I wish a moment of lucidity
    would bide its time
    and stay with me
    Yet all I have left is my voice,
    witness to say I had no choice,
    and that everything matters,
    and yet nothing does
    as I remember who I was...

    I like this a lot...the poem that is, not the feelings...I hope that the purpose and understanding return to you. I believe you do have a choice. Everyone does... :hug:
  3. It's what I battle with every day, every moment - though always feeling like I'm losing....or the odds were against me to begin with...

    You may feel that the odds are against you, but battle them anyway. So often, sheer will can overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. Keep that lightsabre handy and keep battling those dark forces. Light all the candles you can, rather than give in to the darkness.

    sending love and light and hugs and hope your way,

    love always, xoxoxox

    the last two lines...

    were wonderful... because it seems so true these days...
