A recluse dies in an isolated farmhouse of natural causes and no one notices.
That's a bit cruel, but also not that far off the mark. She lived on 25 acres, kept to herself and apparently had no family. I'm not sure what other outcome would be expected.
Perhaps she simply wanted it that way, given how she lost touch and secluded herself, physically and otherwise.
It seems to happen all too often to older people. I shudder when I think back to walking the Los Angeles Mission District at night. You wouldn't believe how many half-dead people are abandoned by society and left to wither away.
Let this be a note to all: Call your grandmother or visit your old crazy aunt :biggrin:.
