You never know when it’s gonna happen
One minute you’re walking on water
    And shooting towards Mars
And the next thing you know
    Running out of time
    Running low on faith
    Running for the door
    And tripping on your feet.
If I did this to myself
Than I want nothing to do with myself anymore
    This traitorous beastie
    With her transparent thoughts
    And her grasping
    Take it back.
    Take it all back.
    Take it.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could
    Track the crack
    Back to a day
A moment where the breaking happened.
    A finger on a map
    A calendar square
This is where I tottered on the brink
And this is where I swan dived
And this is the moment I knew
    I was never coming back.
Take that eraser you are searching for
    And erase this
    This moment
    This conversation
    This kiss
    This slamming of a door
Or the closing of a heart.
    This meeting of like minds.
    Take it
    Rub it raw
    Until the paper wears thin
    Rice paper thin.
    Take it back
    Take it away.
    I don’t want it anymore.

    Dearly Beloved;

You've done it again!:eek:hmy: Expressed the deepest feelings of yours and of ours, your friends and confidantes. I love the expression itself:smile: but deeply despise the feelings that brought it forth. I don't want you to be so sad, so regretful - as I am sometimes the same and want those feelings to go away forever. You have the most amazing ability.:eek:hmy:  I read your works and weep and feel as if I were standing next to you, or wanted to be, and could comfort you as best I could, even if awkwardly, patting your back and saying, "there there, tell me where it hurts". But still sincere despite my awkward fumblings.

That's what I love and hate the most about this forum: I feel so deeply over the hurts that my friends here write about, yet feel powerless to anything but praise the poetry and empathize with the agony. I feel so helpless, yet reading your things, as with others, I feel so close to you, wanting to soothe your pain, make it "all better".

I am grateful for all you share with us and wish for you some measure of peace and comfort, if in nothing else than within yourself, in being able to love yourself as you are.

    much love,

    least xoxoxox
  3. I find it hard to describe how your words make me feel - but that doesn't mean I don't feel - deep... and raw... and delicate, like rice paper...

    Your words do that..
