    Not Here…

It’s like I’m sensitive to touch, but cannot feel.

I’m sensitive to sound but there is nothing to hear.

I’m sensitive to light, but it is dark.

I’m feelings others’ pain, but there is no one here.

My senses are acute to the nothingness.

My mouth is full, but I have not eaten.

My eyes are tired, but they are asleep.

My world is swirling while it is standing still.

My arms are tired of hugging the air.

The moon’s rays are warm upon my face.

My mind stops…but yet I am so aware.

Loneliness is a very physical pain felt most in a crowd.

My throat is so sore from screaming silently…. It is no use.

    A phantom’s loving reflection.

My heart twitches, I whimper, but no one can hear.

Will it never end? Is there no peace nor grace for me?

There is no one here… Not even me.
