What topics should a person include (exclude) in his or her suicide note?

Please answer the question. Do NOT respond by saying don't commit suicide.

    Currently, I plan to include:
    1. Apologies

    2. Acceptance of responsibility where I explain ...
    a. It's 100% my fault
    b. It's 0% their fault
    c. It could not have been prevented
    d. It was not spontaneous, but rather contemplated and planed for most of my life

    3. Thank you's

it sounds like there is someone who you don't want to feel guilt or pain about your death.

    that's probably impossible.

if you sincerely try every reasonable treatment option (you may want to click the link in my signature), I think that the person receiving the note might take some comfort in knowing that you tried your best to get better.

i suspect though, that this person would want you to tell them that you are feeling suicidal, so they can do all they can to help.

if this person doesn't know, they are probably going to blame themselves for not seeing signs that you are suicidal

perhaps you should consider what you would want to read in someone elses note that you love.
