Haven't had my meds since friday (a 'friend' thought it would be funny to hide them on my birthday) and I'm coming off them hard.

Dizzy, getting brain zaps, had enough currently looking for rope to end it.

Parents don't give a shit, txted my mum saying it's urgent and i need a lift to the emergency room, get a message back saying "drive yourself" Yeah mum, I'm going to drive myself when I can't even take 3 steps without falling over.

Txted dad last night, was outside havign a cigarette when I did it, saw him get up, check his phone and ignore the message.

Currently very down, venlafaxine sucks, anxiety is going through the roof.

Don't know how much longer I can take it

Yikes, coming off cold turkey even when you intend to is pretty bad. Some friend! Call 911 cuz it can be dangerous to you not only mentally but physically hun. Please if you have to even go to a neighbor and get a ride. Dont keep trying any longer to ride it out. You need some medical attention and someone that can get you back on your meds now.

this is actually a serious issue. if you live in america, although its expensive, the emergency room at a hospital will give you the medication by checking your records. otherwise contact the psychiatrist or doctor that prescribed you the medication. i agree with the above post, notify authorities if you feel unsafe.

    i care

Just got back from EPS (emergency psychiatric services), dosed me up on clonazepam, gave me a prescription for my meds and $2 later I'm good to go. Thank <insert deity here> for living in a country with a socialist healthcare system...

Hey glad to see you're back and doing better. Now think you need to have a "talk" with this friend of yours. Let them know just how dangerous that little stunt was and how drastic it became. Maybe time to find a few new friends? Thanks for posting and letting us know hun. Please be safe and know you have a few friends here that really do care!

I'm glad you got your meds sorted.

Coming off meds cold turkey is never advised but Venlafaxine is a really bad med to stop cold turkey. Even coming off it slowly isn't nice.
