Can you tell me names of few really good horror movies from 70s, 80s and 90s (90s if they are really good:))

You know, like Haloween or other stuff from carpenter...:)

I'm not sure if this is considered a horror movie, but you should check out Army Of Darkness if you haven't seen it.

The Asphyx is a sweet Flick. Gothic. This scientist discovers that upon death, a thing called an Asphyx enters the body causing expiration. So he puts himself and his loved ones in near-death situations so he can trap the Asphyx, achieving immortality for them. Awesome movie, but I can't find it anywhere :( Let me know if you do.

as Patch said, The Thing is a brilliant movie. Becareful though, it is very messed up . Also the ALIEN trilogy is great, and also george romeros living dead trilogy (day of the dead is the goriest.)
