No matter how bad things get Ana is always there for me. She doesn't turn her back on me and give up on me.

I have known her for many years & she has carried me through times of grief & sorrow..But some of those sorrows were caused by her..

When you think you control her, in reality she is controlling you..

I cannot preach as I do not have the moral high ground, but please be safe..

Being that this is the ED forum, it is anorexia, I would assume.

Anorexia may feel like its the only thing there for you, but in reality, anorexia pushes people away, isolating you so that you become more and more alone. Fight for you, okay? There's a way out, hang in there

 

Ana doesn't care, she beats you down at your worst moments; feeds off of your negative emotion and makes it worse. While she makes you feel in control, reality shows that it is actually the opposite.

Please, don't think your ED cares! Anorexia is only your coping mechanism, but it will only hurt you further in the end, promoting the cycle of sadness.

Try to reconsider what you're doing. Seek help to move past your ED, THAT will give you real empowerment.
