What with the passing of a friend from work this week, it's kind of got me thinking. Just as the title says, the good die young and yet from what I've observed over the years, the bad live on. Maybe it's some kind of bastard mentality that helps them to linger despite whatever obstacles they may face. Perhaps that resilience could even be down to an inner desire to live on so that they can continue to be a total bastard to as many people as possible. At times one may wonder that those that are good natured carry their obliging tendencies to the point where they are prepared to step aside and allow someone else to take their place on this planet, thinking "oh well, there you go no point in making a fuss."
So I guess in order to be resilient, one needs to possess that bit of feral about them.
