I accidentally cut my elbow today and and it won't stop bleeding  it has been like this for half an hour or so and the bandaids never stay in place :( is there anything else to do?

run it under cold water for 10-15 minutes.
    then put pressure on it.
if it doesn't stop bleeding after that then maybe you need to get it checked out by a nurse.

remember to clean it too, if it stops bleeding, with antiseptic.

it sounds bad if it has been like this for half an hour, is it bleeding badly? if it is, then i suggest going straight to a nurse/doctor.

Ermm.. cold water first, then anti infection meds, then plaster, then go watch movie.

The cut is not very deep but it started bleeding everytime the bandaid detached (24/7)... To avoid moving my arm seems to work.

ouch yes elbow is a nasty place as it is fairly impossible to not move it.
some nasty wounds need pressure for a long time.
you can clean the wound later once you take the pressure away and you see it doesnt bleed any more

It doesn't bleed anymore! But it still burns. I'm glad it won't leave a visible scar (who looks at people's elbows... lol)
