Well if you want to lose weight you can my friend, find out what unhealthy things you eat and change your habits.
I have put on weight recently and am working on it. But you have so little free time, I know it must be hard.

Its possible this should be in my diary....

But I was trying hard not to snack or binge, because of the weight-gain, but tonight was a really difficult night, and I'm left feeling exhausted and incapable and just bloody depressed...

and I've eaten a lot of cake* :(

If your problem is binging or overeating, try to slowly bring more healthy foods into your diet. Make a list of specific nutrients you want from day to day and start to include them in what you eat. Look for good sources of calcium, vitamin C, b12. Things that will help your body be healthy and strong. try to see food as a source of energy and not as a treat or a comfort (which is very difficult, I know). I have an eating disorder that I'm currently working to subside.
