  1. Panic sweeps in like a maelstrom
    with eddies and swirls
    and lightning in my mind;
    like the glare of headlights
    in a darkened night,
    blinding me suddenly,
    dizzying heights,
    as worry becomes a wall
    I cannot see over
    but is all ~
    Swallowing and crushing,
    devouring my perspective
    Molten nerves of fallen steel,
    raw, ravaged, and warped
    It assails me ~
    I cannot flee
    I’m paralyzed,
    behind my eyes

Wonderful imagery. I could really 'see' the poem and what you were saying. I'll leave it there before I start waffling on like a pretentious, bespectacled art critic.

Oh, and it's somehow great to know somebody with your talent appreciates what I produce.

  3. Thanks 'moments' - soon as I calm down enough, I could do my own waffling about your work. Lately this place feels like my only refuge, and it's so good to let it all hang out, as well as read (and interrpret) the magic and catharsis of these expressions, yours as the others... It means so much to me. Perhaps it's an escape, but no... it IS cathartic (I'm trying to rememeber to breathe right now, carrry on, as you were - s'cuse me while I go freak out some more)(gulp)

I wish I could write something that could make a difference.

Some days you just have to get through, rather than live.

    Thoughts are with you.

Um, I guess you just did
(The little x helped too. I *almost* smiled)

I know the feeling all too well, and wish I could take it from you, so the panic wouldn't be so overwhelming. But I can only offer friendship and love, so there you have it!
