I know there's some people here who use photoshop and I've been having this problem for the past 40 mins or so and it's driving me crazy...

I want to save an animation as a .gif but whenever I go into 'Save Optimized As...' it only gives me the option of saving the file as a .jpg (and as you probs already know, it needs to be a .gif to be animated).

I have tried restarting the program, didn't work though.

This seems to be the only file I'm having a problem with, the screenshot below saved easily as a .gif image.

Here's the a screenshot showing the image I want to save as a .gif, don't know if it's any help but yeah. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

    Finally I figured it out...

If anyone has this problem here's what you do.

In ImageReady, go to Window -> Optimize
When the Optimize window pops up make sure the format says .gif
