    Mindless machines
    Slaving away
    Toiling hard
To achieve something from the play
    Doing their best
    at nothing real
    Just to show themselves
    That how they feel
    Is real

God... this one makes me sick because it strikes so true to me and my obsession with video games... Want to throw up now hehe, but its ok if you say its cool, because I think it is too...

I like it very much! And it most certainly is accurate! THanks for sharing with us.

  4. It's great, sad, ironic, wonderful you have this awareness of how minor (but ubitiquitous) technology so rules our lives... I just wrote a piece lately for my weekly internet column - about how 50% of the people on the planet have not yet even used a telephone (a true fact), yet we, here, are so overrun by consumerism and being "state of the art" so that it consumes US. We use and abuse and give nothing back to the planet - just make more garbage. For entertainment'/diversions' sake? Forgive my wee rant... I'm prone and guilty to some measure, but in my heart, I'm a Ludite...

    Loved your poem
