please give me ideas

    what are some ways (healthy or not, im SO desperate) you are able to just feel okay and at peace when you are so severely depressed ALL the ttime? (such as reading,excercising etc?) but more creative ways? all ideas are appreciated:smile:

    Not sure what you like so heres a couple:

    Watch a documentary about animals etc. Often those are 2 hours shows on Discovery and with the images that are shown you may get caught up in that for a little while.

    If you are religious, perhaps reading in that area.

    Perhaps play games.

    Every is different so try a few things, it can't hurt. Hope you feel better soon.

    get involved with a sport, something simple to start out with like badminton
    Take an art class for something fun to learn like ceramics or pottery.
    Keep a journal or a sketchbook that you can decorate and fill with your thoughts , drawings and personal touches of your own.
    Do some volunteer work like spending time with the elderly, becoming a big brother/big sister (if you are over 18), even organizing books at your library.
    Get a plant like a cactus or something and watch it grow!
