I wouldn't mind discussing Buddhism and Eckharte Tolle. I actually just recently got this clock that just says "now". It's supposed to keep me mindful and in the present.

I recommend watching dharma talks on YouTube by Zen master and Nobel peace laureate Thich nhat Hanh. He's regarded as the 'father of mindfulness' in the West. I find even his voice to be very calming

You have to learn the art of letting go of pain and fear laden thoughts of past and future by practicing mindfulness, and then to tenderly embrace your suffering with this energy.

Like @Lara_C is saying, you have to be present with your pain. Trying to fight it makes it worse. There's an equation pain x resistance = suffering.

Yes, but you have to develop mindfulness first. If you don't know how to create moments of peace, the pain can be overwhelming.
