  1. The day I go to heaven,
The phone booths, will be full,
A long distant call from me to you,
    I hope we don't disconnect,

I hope that you will forgive,
I know we lost all our friends,
    Is it any easer?
    I wish it was,

Losing all our friends with the drinking, and the driving,
    I hope we can forget,
    This is our fault,
To see the truth that we have done,

    I hope I don't disconnect,
Nothing gets so bad, from a whisper from me to you,
    I'm not here,
Just a sip away, to start the drinking and the driving,

    I hope no one seen,
The window that we flew threw,
    I am losing hope,
    We flew away,

Like seeds they planted me in the ground,
    Please don't cry,
Maybe I will grow into a tree so you can climb, and find me,
    I am not here,

Just a sip away, to start the drinking and the driving,
I hope a blossom into hope for you,
    I hope We don't disconnect,
    I hope we can forget,

Do you feel condemned, in being there?
    This is our fault,
I hope we can drink away...
