I don't write much ..but i have started it back..here is one i wrote recently

    Questions of the mind

Hear the flap of a wing.
    Sounds of a crisp breeze.
    Rustles of the abundant leaves.
    What do these sounds mean?

    Shouting for someone's hand.
    Screaming out, "I cannot stand!"
    Crying in a distant land.
    Will anyone understand?

    Feeling nervous on the inside
    Needing to run and hide
    Hunting for the up side
    In whom shall I confide?

Twists and turns around the bend
Ups and downs my head spins
    Just another has-been
    When will this ever end?

The first poem I've read on this forum and I'm impressed!

Nicely written, conjures up the imagery and good pacing.

Wow! Thank you Boing. That means alot to me to hear that. Writing used to mean a great deal to me, but I slowly drifted away from it. I have a thick book of them hidden somewhere, if I didn't throw it away!
