“I shall die here. Every last inch of me shall perish. Except one. An inch. It's small and it's fragile and it's the only thing in the world worth having. we must never lose it, or sell it, or give it away. We must never let them take it from us.”
Great film, I watch it every 5th of November.
I dont really hold onto quotes, they just sort of pop into my head at times, for example:
"When you cant run, you crawl, and when you cant crawl, when you can't do that, you find someone to carry you." from Firefly.
"We are all equal, but some are more equal than others" from Animal Farm (George Orwell)
But one I really come back to alot:
"Pain and guilt can't be taken away with the wave of a magic wand. They're the things we carry with us, the things that make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. I don't want my pain taken away! I need my pain!" from Star Trek 6
I like that last one because I agree with it, I became a lot less selfish after I got depression. There are so many down sides, but it has improved my character endlessly, also, the people I find most worth knowing are the ones who are in one kind of pain or another.
also..
"YOUR TEARING ME
APART LISA!" (Serious respect for anyone who gets this without googling it)
