Just a poem I apparently wrote in March, in one of my down moods I'm sure, since that's usually only when I can write. Not sure how good it is. Enjoy though.

    oh, pretty little girl
with those bruises on your ego
that faded smile on your lips
the dimmed glimmer in your eyes
    tell me, please
tell me what made you this way
    who made you this way
tell me why your smile has become fake
why you hide your pretty face from the world
do you think they've shut you out?
do you believe no one cares?
    pretty girl, please come out
    show your face
    show us who you are
no fake smile, but something real
no watered eyes, but something with glitter
show the world who you are
    let those bruises heal
you may be scared, pretty girl
it may take a long while
    but you're strong enough
    tell us how this happened
tell us who did this to you
    who damaged you so
    we'll ask them why
    ask them how
    how they could damage
damage a sweet girl so pure
    we'll make them pay
    for what they did
    to such a sweet,
    pretty little girl like you
    because you are strong
    you are sweet
    you will make it
    make it through
    all you've been through
and all you will go through
because you are strong pretty little girl
oh, pretty little girl you are strong
