the orgasm - a minute or so
eating a sundae - 5 to 10 minutes
any kinda pain (broken bone, cancer, flu, migraines, emphysema, etc.) - hours, days, weeks, months -- unending.
Yeah, whether it's worth it or not is a huge thing. Most people on the entire planet far and away like the current setup.
The suicidal, though, disagree.
Further, what about a loving relationship? That can last decades, same as any of the suffering. The orgasm is much like the impact of the rock on your foot... the relationship is more like the long, low-intensity recovery in a cast.
I've never broken my toe before, nor my foot. I've only broken my left pinky finger and my right hand's middle-finger knuckle and finger(don't punch TVs). Either or, totally worth it for a good blowjob.

It's totally worse when whatever's broken is on the end of your leg. I was 14 when I broke my toe. At that age, I never sat still unless I was asleep. The problem with a broken toe is that they can't really do anything about it besides tape it to the toe beside it and give you a wooden sandal. I wore the sandal a few times before I realized it was basically useless and just made it harder to get around.
It took several months before the toe was healed and (all these years later) it still hurts like all hell if I stub it on something. Mostly, it took longer for it to heal because I wouldn't stay off of it. I wanted to run and play with the other kids.

I have a problem with my feet that's going to require both my small "pinky" toes to be broken soon . . . I'm not really looking forward to it, but the world's best blow job would totally make it more worth while. Lemme just say this, breaking your knuckle and finger sucks, it was very painful and my right hand was basically useless for about 6 weeks. When I broke my pinky, I didn't realize it was broken for two weeks or so I just was like "why does my pinky finger hurt?" At the doctor for a check he told me I had fractured it, and that's all he did.
In that case, good luck 'coz that shit hurts. Though the pain isn't really that severe after the initial shock of it. The worst part for me was when I initially broke it, which (of course) was an accident and I wasn't anesthetized as you probably will be. Later, when it's trying to heal, it only really hurts if you have to walk on that foot and then it's more of a really deep, dull ache. My toe was what they called a spiral fracture. Meaning it was broken in several places. Maybe yours won't be so bad.

So in the ideal world we flip this then
all pain lasts a minute or so
sundae's remain a 5 to 10 minute adventure
and orgams (of all kinds) hours, days, weeks, months--unending
