Can somebody suffer from chronic psychosis? Hearing voices that don't seem to go away etc?

I honestly don't know. I would guess that anything a person has experienced previously in life is likely to happen again.

The only time when I experience anything like hearing voices is when I'm falling asleep. I've always been curious as to whether that's something most people experience or not. I tend to hear all sorts of weird noises as I'm falling asleep. Sometimes, it just sounds like a crowd of people all talking at once. Often, it's the voices of people I know. I don't know what they're saying though. It's just random stuff.

But when I'm fully awake and alert, not really. Although I do sometimes hear things in my head as I'm thinking but that might not be the same thing.
