  1. Okay, I have a question.

If you have an eating disorder (anorexia/bulimia nervosa), I have a question.

Has your eating disorder effected your metabolism?
Like, has it made it stop completely?
It's a question on this paper I'm doing and I'm curious to know if eating disorders effect your metabolism...

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

well, eating habits in general effect your metabolism. after an extensive period of time your metabolism with basically turn off and turn everything you eat into fat since you were starved before (some call this starvation mode)

    It slows down your metabolism.

If you're starving yourself your body just slows down to conserve energy. It's not pleasant, especially when you can't talk properly without falling asleep. Take care. xx

  6. hm whatever is wrong with me, when i dont eat for days and days, then i eat again, doesnt seem to effect my weight, but maybe thats cause i have a good metabolism, either way, meh, spose it effects others in different ways but it aint effected my metabolism, since when i eat i dont gain anything, sometimes i lose, which is ... odd.
