This is my second piece of work, I will admit it looks a little better then my first. I made good use of a thesaurus, considering what bad memory I have.

In the icy fog of morning,
    Raindrops fall like knives,
    Though your presence,
It is a constant aspiration to me.

    And for a brief instant,
    I gazed into you,
As you dance in the rain,
    Unaware of my affection.

    With your elegant smile,
    Eager and inviting,
    You outreach your hand,
Which bestows both joy and sorrow.

    And I still question it,
    Would my love be unrequited?
Or would it be as reveries,
    Where the feeling is mutual?

    Your voice breaks my meditation,
    And brings me to reality...
I love too much to reform,
The beautiful heart that I eminently cherish.

    Thanks for reading...
A side note, all of my poetry is not based on actual events, only my imagination.
