    Twas once but long ago
    But not more then time
In the blink of an eye
    My shattered rose
    My razor rose

    The color of the glass
    Tinted by my crimson flow
    Pooling razor twas my rose
    Pooling through hearths and bows

The pittering patter of my dripping glass
The burning scent of the skin below
    Trails of steamy smoke
    Whirling to the heavens above

Rose to ash, skin to dust
Red to black, tan to grey
The razor rose is the only thing
    That takes the pain away

Just A note to readers, This is not Promoting Scuicide, this is promoting however the beauty in what others see of you.

    good poem..i loved it!
  4. S'cuse me - I must be in a weird mood (no doubt), but I don't see any beauty here --- in glorifying/romanticising self-abuse. MHO...

Actually, its not really about self abuse, its what people see before the abuse, and what they don't see during/after
