  1. S’cuse me for being bitter
It took you one day to hit bottom
    a few times,
    one day of nightmares
    George Bailey
    to make you lose it
    give up
    try to end it;
    said one prayer
got kicked in the butt once more
and gave up on it all
    But… you got an angel
And they made a movie about it
And a whole town came to your rescue.
I used to believe in miracles
But I don’t believe in you
    What a shitty movie
to show to the truly lost
    at this time of year
‘Cause the ones that are fine
    never needed it
    to feel oh-so-okay about
a life they don’t worry about
    And one prayer does not
    save us
    They are countless…
    and so are we

Hell, yeah. Love the poem. Really do. Hate the movie. Guy's an asshat and the ending is vomitous. Where's my angel, eh? Or my bag of money, cuz I could work that too. :)

That film is so pony, makes me cringe. I so am in total agreement with you. Remember its just a film, you express your bitterness so fluently and consistently all year round, I think 'its a wonderfull life' is bieng quite sarcastic and ironic. When I finished watching it I asked myself 'how long before he's got his head back in the gutter'. But thats just pessemistic I spose
