    Its shineing back at you
But dull at your first glance
Stareing as if you'll know what to do
    Blast your second chance

    Glare at your reflection
See what you wish to see
    Let your mind's perfection
Become what you want to be

    Push until the envelope
    Folds and seals itself
Smuggle 'till they loose their hope
    Bear the scars you've delt

    Stare so hard
    All thats left thats past
You've broken what you've worked so hard
    Make this one your last.

    Look at yourself
    LOOK and see
    What you are
    What you are to ME
    You cannot change
    What I've seen
    What you've become
    Done to me
    Look at yourself
    See what I see
    You're beautiful
    I live to be
    A part of you
    A part of me
    Look at yourself
    Look and see
    Your own refletion
    The light that shines
    Within my shadows
    My eyes
    My mind...
    You cannot change
    What you've left behind
    You cannot blame
    Those that are blind
    They cannot see
    Nor give the time
    Their race is lost
    It cost their lives
    Look at yourself
    Look thru me
    See what you are
    Reflected in me?

Beautiful, Curtius, absolutely beautiful - as are all your works!!

  3. Curtius,

That's the most beautiful thing you've ever written - out of hope, and not despair. Not berating yourself (I'm SOoooo glad) Sharing instead of drowning. I'm so in awe. I love this corner you've turned - keep going lovely one!! Oh lovely one...

    We love you

that one was different wasn't it?

Not sure if I like that or not... I'll have a drink and then decide...

  5. That was amazing. I'd like permission to share it with others outside the site. I won't say where I got it, or what all is involved. But I know others who would enjoy and appreciate it's beauty.
  6. It most certainly was. I was near dumbstruck, but glad for the turn. A fresh door. A new opening. You once said you *might* let me in - I say, perhaps you can let *yourself* out... oh, and I've had a drink with you - something I do all too well.

Seriously, that was a beautiful piece of soul-expression! It isn't always easy, but grace was with you...Not an end per se, but a beginning. Perhaps?? A small light - an open door for now. Let it suffice....sigh

You have my permission AS LONG AS my name stays at the bottom...

I dont care if anyone knows the pretense or where they came from. This place is a part of me now and thats why I put everything I write here. I am not ashamed of my life or where I live it, in fact I am quite proud of it. ;-)

These are the words of 'me' - please let me keep them.

I am very flattered that you find them worthy enough to share...
