With the help of my mother I was able to prevent the hospital (the one I went to last year) from making me pay more money than I owed. Feels good to finally win for once.
It wasn't even that. I didn't have insurance at the time so they gave me a discount. I paid that in full yet they duplicated the bill (intentional or not it doesn't matter) and therefore charged me again full price. In other words they tried to get me to pay twice. Fraud if I ever saw it. If it happens again I'm hiring an attorney specializing in medical stuff.
