    I plunged my arm into
    my chest and rescued
    my heart from its aching
    nest, replaced it with three
    full sacks of mud, termites
    on decaying wood,
    the blood inside, cooled
    congealing concrete caked,
    covering all feelings
    just the phantom pain
    of my nerve ends screaming
    chemicals convert, skeletal
    muscles contract, the final
    agitated agonising act of rigor
    terrorises my corpse with
    raging vigour, my dead body
    stiffens as the plot thickens
    the plot coils
    the plot sickens
    cadaver laying broken stricken
    vultures crouch my life secedes
    vultures shadow maggots feed
    carcass fucked
    just a heart of mud
bury it deep beneath the sod
pepper my grave with gifts of love
and remember me to those above

As always, amazing and beautiful. (I'm running out of positive adjectives) You've got the gift that keeps on giving...poetry to those of us who love poetry, especially yours.  I hope all, or at least some, of your life is going tolerably well, if not even better. You know if I could I'd swim the pond and give you a big hug!:surfing:

    love always,
