I'm not a fan, but Rest in Peace...

He died from heart failure this night, 50 years old. His death is confirmed by both doctors and his family.

    - My fav MJ song
    - No matter what he did or didnt, he was a legendary artist

Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
    I'll never be alone
And you, my friend, will see
You've got a friend in me
(you've got a friend in me)

Ben, you're always running here and there
You feel you're not wanted anywhere
    If you ever look behind
And don't like what you find
There's one thing you should know
You've got a place to go
(you've got a place to go)

I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
Ben, most people would turn you away
I don't listen to a word they say
They don't see you as I do
I wish they would try to
    I'm sure they'd think again
If they had a friend like Ben
    (a friend) Like Ben
    (like Ben) Like Ben

Hmmm...having grown up in the same part of the country he did, and he wasnt that much older than me, and being a musician myself, I always had a fond place in my heart for the Jackson's.

I was never a huge fan of his music, but when greatness is there, you have to aknowledge it. And is album Thriller is still one of the best albums ever made. I mean that thing was a hit machine.

It is really quite sad how he declined in recent years.

We lost a legend in the industry. We lost a man who, like my boys, KISS, shaped and inspired a whole generation of musicians.

Before there was Michael Jordan, Before there was Tiger Woods, Before there was anyone else, there was Michael Jackson.

RIP Bro! You are finally at rest.

I don,t know if you'd call me a fan? I liked a lot a his music. But I did not like all the drama around him. He did not have a good life,no childhood, work work work and no time for life! I just watched thiller video on t.v. and I found myself crying ? I'm 59 years old ,male bi polar, I will miss his talent. R.I.P.
