  1. I had just become numb,
    Enveloped in the clutter,
    Thoroughly convinced of the distractions.
    Slash, a picture, your face
    So clear I can feel your breath on my cheek
    Vivid, a smile so audacious I must grin
    Reality’s riposte pierces my flesh
    Fool to think that I deserved that smile-
    It is for him now.

    Very descriptive! I like it. Who is this "him," if that's a question you're willing to answer?
     
  3. I actually wrote this a couple of years ago, I had very strong feelings for a girl and she started seeing someone else
