SAA and AA

Hello. I wrote an email off to the SAA website, but until they write back, I thought I would see if anyone here could answer some of my questions. I am thinking of attending a SAA (sex addict annonymous) meeting and have been looking at their website. It says it is like AA (alcoholics annonymous), so if you know about one, maybe you can help. My questions are:

    1) Does it cost anything to attend a SAA meeting?

    2) I see under the meetings that some are "closed" while others are "open". What's the difference, and which one do I go to?

    3) The website keeps mentioning a "sponsor". Who/what is this? Is this someone I need to know and bring with me to help me through the meeting, or is it someone I meet there?

    4) Once I attend the meeting, am I free to leave at any time, and come back at any time? Or is it like a class or something, where I am supposed to attend the next X meetings or something?

Thanks for any help you can provide =)
