I'm confused about a scar I have. I cut my wrist 2 months ago and ever since then there has been a small scar visible (a few mm). I have self harmed many times before and usually the scars fade within a couple of weeks or a month at the most but this time the scar is still there and I'm not sure why? It wasn't deep, there was a tiny flap of skin after cutting (like what you get from a larger papercut) and it did bleed for about 5-10 minutes but like I said it wasn't that big. I'm worried it might be permanent but I don't understand how it can be from such a small cut? Why would this scar take much longer to fade than usual??
any ideas how I could get it to fade away faster?

I find a lot of times that whether I scar or not depends on where I SH just as much as how deep. There are over the counter creams that will help it fade. They're the only things I can really recommend.
