Anyone else out there scared to sleep? As in actually, physically scared of lying down and closing your eyes to the point that you feel wide awake and full of energy, only to crash half an hour later and go through the whole cycle again? Or even scared of what their mind is going to show them when they give in and shut down?

How are you supposed to get to sleep when your body tells you you can't? :eek:utcold:

Guess I have the opposite problem.I want to sleep as much as I can. I agree about going throught the cycle again, I don't want to get up and have another day.

There's not much you can do when you're too rested to sleep, so I stay up and exhaust myself so I can just crash.

It is so hard to break a cycle with sleep patterns...-_-

This is exactly how I feel. Sleep is a giving up and letting go. Everything rises to the surface when I slow down. I don't like what comes up. I don't like sleeping because it comes up.

I'm not scared of sleeping.... but I am scared of waking up.

Sleeping is an easy thing to do.
    Everyone has to sleep.

If you are having sleeping problems try medication.
